I arrived in Cape Town around 11AM. While I was exhausted, I didn’t want to sleep…I needed to reset my schedule. So I walked through town where I found myself in the Company Gardens. The Egyptian geese and their goslings were everywhere. I also met a few musicians. School kids roamed about along with beggars and homeless. After cleaning up back at the hostel, I headed out to Asoka for dinner and jazz. The dessert there was particularly good – Set rose yogurt, pistachio brittle, and hibiscus flower ice cream.

During my first layover in London, I walked along the Thames River to the Tate Modern Art Museum. While I took lots of photos of the artwork in the museum for my own documentation, I took some shots on the way there and the way back to someday hang in a gallery. London was charming, full of beautiful elements of design, and I was fortunate to have a warm sunny day for my adventure.
