Day 4 was my attempt at going up Lion’s Head Mountain. (Failed!) But I did get some lovely pictures. Later, I caught the sunset from Signal Hill, went to dinner at the waterfront, and then dancing at a club (Club 31) which sits on the 31st floor of the ABSA building with amazing views of the city.
I arrived in Cape Town around 11AM. While I was exhausted, I didn’t want to sleep…I needed to reset my schedule. So I walked through town where I found myself in the Company Gardens. The Egyptian geese and their goslings were everywhere. I also met a few musicians. School kids roamed about along with beggars and homeless. After cleaning up back at the hostel, I headed out to Asoka for dinner and jazz. The dessert there was particularly good – Set rose yogurt, pistachio brittle, and hibiscus flower ice cream.
